So I made some research about how I can lose weight, and being able to be safe and healthy. I have a lot of stomach problems, and I just cannot stop eating or else i will have pain in my stomach, I do have a fast metabolism but I can slow it down if I don't eat enough or put enough nutritious foods.
I don't know if many of you know this but Calories are very important in a person's diet.
If you have a low calorie intake it can actually affect you. so I decided to do some research and writing about it.
Q:What calories mean and why they are important to your health?
A:Calories are defined as units of energy. One calorie will equal one unit of energy through this definition. Anything that has energy in it, including water, gasoline, etc. will have calories, or units of energy that is associated with it. In relation to this, the energy can be associated as one unit of heat. In relation to food, calories are associated with energy that is contained in protein, carbohydrates and fat. Within each of these measures, calories will have a given amount of energy. Calories are only a measure of how much energy you can get from a nutrient or a food source. The more calories you get, the more energy you can burn. However if you burn less calories of what you ingest, you get stored fat.
From calorie intake, your body burns calories in order to remain balanced. This is by the metabolism moving the calories through the body. They will use nutrients in the body as well as enzymes in order to break down calories and use them as energy or move them through the body. The metabolism may also turn calories into proteins or amino acids if the body needs it. These calories then move into the bloodstream and turn into cells or become stored energy. The important thing about calories is not how much you take in, but making sure that there aren’t too many that are stored in your body as extra energy. This eventually turns into extra weight that your body can’t get rid of. You can determine how many calories you need through a variety of factors. Every individual will differ, depending on what their body needs to stay balanced. The first thing that needs to be determined is your body mass ratio. This is a measure that can be taken by health professionals to determine how much of your body is fat and how much is essential to survival.
There should only be between 19-25 percent of fat in relation to everything else in your body. From here, you can measure how much exercise as well as calorie consumption you need in order to stay balanced in diet and have the right amount of energy in your food. There are several ways that you can find how many calories you need each day and how much you need to burn off. This can also help in determining the types of foods that you need to eat. These can then be balanced with the nutrients that your body needs. These can provide an extra boost for your energy burning needs. There are a variety of calculations that you can make each day, as well as data supplies that have what you need in order to determine the amount of calorie intake.
Calories are a way of providing sources of energy to your body. Because of this, it is important to have a balanced level of calories each day. This can then be even more balanced through knowing which foods to eat as well as knowing how much physical exercise you need. By finding the right amount of calories for you, your body will have the right amount of energy for high levels of functioning.

If there isn't enough calories in your body then you can start losing muscle mass and that can lead to heart failure, also you won't have enough energy to keep going, so If you are doing a diet that has less than 1200 calories a day, you will probably start feeling one of these symptoms.
- weakness
- fatigue
- memory loss
- confusion
- to the point where you can faint
- and even cause your own death if you exceed the lack of calories.
these are the things that can happen because your body is running out of energy, The brain functions from fat, and your heart is a muscle that get weakens if there isn't enough energy fat in the body.
Fat doesn't make you FAT. .. enough Fat is needed in the body, and what is the best thing is to keep the right amount of fat in your body to stay thin and healthy, and feel energized and beautiful.
I hope this informs some people and at the same times helps out.

Great post :)
I don't know about you but I value my health above my weight. I would prefer to be healthy & happy with glowing skin and shiny hair, toned body and strong nails than skinny with bald spots, pimples and weak with dry skin.
You're far better off to work for your body than starve for it. I hope you stay healthy on your weightloss journey xxx
Thanks,
and yes I agree with you I prefer being healthy and strong than being skinny and sick. I want to lose weight but I don't think I will ever starve myself to lose weight. :)
